01 / Professional Experience

Dash Energy

TECH LEAD

2025 — PRESENT

Leading the entire platform — frontend, backend, data, and Azure infrastructure — and owning the product's architecture, security, and legal decisions for 100+ engineers across Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and the USA. Led security audits for enterprise clients (Entra ID, log retention, RPO/RTO, GDPR) and currently leading the integration of AI capabilities into the product. Driving cross-platform integration with Kappa Engineering (France & USA).

SOFTWARE ENGINEER

2022 — 2025

Built a production forecasting platform for oil wells — decline models, statistical analysis, economic calculations, multi-currency and multi-unit support. Led the frontend team, optimized the rendering of thousands of historical well data series without degrading the experience, and grew from frontend to full stack by taking over the Django backend. Also built the complete frontend for SimplG, an LPG plant simulator for an allied company, using React Flow for interactive node-based diagrams.

FRONTEND DEVELOPER (CONTRACT)

2023 — 2024

Built an ETL that extracted, vectorized, and indexed every document from Colombia's Judicial Branch with Azure AI Search, powering a legal-history search platform for a major energy sector client. Developed the React search frontend with multi-field queries (national ID, tax number, city) that renders matches in a PDF generated on the client.

Waco Digital Hub

SOFTWARE DEPARTMENT LEAD

2022

Joined as a Frontend Engineer and took over leadership of the software department within a month — owning the company's projects, developers, and clients. Shipped GourmetApp to production, a TikTok-style restaurant menu platform adopted by 400+ restaurants across Madrid, leading a team of 4 and optimizing content delivery on AWS and GCP. Also managed e-commerce support for 3 supermarket chains and the landing page and solar calculator for Vatia, a Colombian energy company.

Atalaya S.A.S

FRONTEND DEVELOPER

2021 — 2022

Built Atalaya's national freight management platform: a mobile app for drivers (React Native) and a web platform for logistics operators (React), on Firebase and Google Cloud. Integrated the Ministry of Transport's RNDC API to automatically generate and upload each trip's manifests and documents, and solved vehicle GPS tracking through provider APIs.

ASTRO TYPESCRIPT CLOUDFLARE SUPABASE GOOGLE MAPS CLAUDE AI SERVERLESS

A civic platform I designed, built, and shipped to production during the August 2026 earthquake in Colombia. It gathers the scattered information people need to act in one place: verified donation drop-off points with a map and distance sorting, lost & found pets, missing-person search (routing to official channels instead of fragmenting reports), and an anti-fraud resource directory. At its core is a trust and freshness model that treats information as something that decays over time — every card shows its source, verification status, and how recently it was confirmed. Features AI autofill from a photo of a flyer (Claude Vision + structured output), Canvas-generated shareable cards, community submissions with human review, and a full admin panel. Static-first and serverless (Astro + Cloudflare Pages Functions + Supabase with RLS): fast, cheap, and resilient in the middle of an emergency. Volunteer-run, non-profit, and it never handles money.

REACT 19 TYPESCRIPT CLAUDE AI SUPABASE STRAVA GARMIN PWA

A PWA I built and use daily as my personal running coach. Claude Sonnet 4 generates weekly training plans adapted to my performance, upcoming races, and recovery needs. Strava and Garmin sync automatically — I can even log runs by taking a photo of my watch (Claude Vision extracts the metrics). Includes weekly AI retrospectives, automatic periodization with tapering, progression charts with linear regression, and push notifications. 9 Edge Functions, 8 database tables, fully installable offline.
